BC!

After two, 12 hour driving days...ugh, we crossed the border into Canada! The border crossing was easy-breezy, but the Walmart parking lot was not!

Bob really dislikes pulling the rig into a parking lot-hard to maneuver, never know if you might pin yourself in, or have someone block your way out. But, it had to be done-fresh fruit and vegetables, plus ice were needed!

We did not encounter any of the listed possible problems until pulling out. A wreck occurred (not us) at the entrance-car flipped over, person pinned inside. Fire trucks, police cruisers, ambulances...now we're pinned in! Our traveling buddies managed to get out of the mess before all the action, so we lost range on the Walkie talkies and all of us had cell phones off due to high charges in Canada. Since I am writing this, it's obvious we found our way out of there, met up with travel companions and got the heck out of Dodge!!!

The drama didn't end! We arrived at a lovely campground only to be assigned a spot that was impossible to get into. I finally trekked up to the office, voiced our dilemma and asked for a new spot. The owner and I rode back to Bob in a golf cart. That was one wild drive! Long story short, we did move to what rv'ers know as a pull-through site. This means, we are still hooked up to the truck and ready to head out this morning.

Wifi extremely slow-posting impossible last night. But since I am an earlier riser-I am beating out the competition! Hoping to be able to post pictures and have more interesting posts as the trip progresses. I have read enough other blogs to know that wifi is going to be very limited, flat tires, cracked windshields, etc. are to be expected. Our friends caught a rock in their windshield yesterday before we even reached the wilds! So we are running par for the course!

More, when possible...
